FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE |
Fort Lauderdale, FL - The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is proud to announce the unveiling of “Enchanted Evening,” an original piece of art created and donated by popular Miami Artist George Rodez. The unveiling will take place on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at miArte Gallery in Coral Gables. The evening will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
“Enchanted Evening” was designed for the 2007 Taste of South Florida, an annual food and wine event to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The artwork will be featured on printed materials for the event.
George Rodez is an artist recognized for his diverse styles and a dedicated supporter of local organizations. His work has been displayed in prestigious galleries both in the United States and abroad.
miArte Gallery is located at 85 Merrick Way, Coral Gables, Florida, one block north of Miracle Mile and west of Douglas Road. Off-street metered parking is available and a municipal covered parking garage is located directly across the street from miArte Gallery. For more information on miArte Gallery visit www.miartegallery.com.
The public is invited to attend this free event and to learn more about Cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. Currently, there is no cure. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, however, has made tremendous progress in its quest for a cure and has been recognized for its efficiency by SmartMoney magazine. More than 90 cents on every dollar raised goes to care and research.
