Art Basel and Masters' Mystery Art Show (MMAS) at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Miami Beach, Fl. for the benefit of Florida International University's Master's in Fine Art program.
The Masters’ Mystery Art Show, a high profile
exhibition and sale of original artist’s works to benefit the Florida
International University's MFA program, will take place at the Miami Beach
Ritz Carlton concurrently with Art Basel Miami Beach ‘04. The project
will follow a format wildly successful in Europe. Works donated by established
artists, including some international stars, will be shown along with famous
architects, designers and celebrities. All works will have a fixed size (6”x
9”) and will be sold at a fixed and very affordable price. The is that
while the names of the participants will be widely publicized, the artists
will not be identified during the exhibition, and the signature on each work
will only be revealed after the sale is completed. So the public has to “play
detective.”
Viewing Day: Nov. 29, 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Sale Day: Nov. 30, 11:00 a.m. followed by "kickoff Party"
Sale Day: Dec. 1 and 2 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
