Katrina's Flowers On Conga Drum
Flores de Katrina Sobre Tumbadora

This painting was completed on August 25, 2005, the day Hurricane Katrina entered our lives here in Miami, little knowing that it would change the lives of so many forever. It serves to represent a moment of beauty within all the chaos that can sometimes surround us at any given moment. Our lives can change in an instant, therefore, we must, whenever we can, always stop to say "I Love You", to take the time to show we care, and to smell the flowers. For in life it is the little things that matter in the long-run.
