Presumptuous Hen / Gallina Presumida

The Presumptuous Hen was painted for an exhibition that was paying homage to the hen. This exhibition was held as a protest against the discrimination of hens in the local art world. Because of Cubans' love for roosters, they are continuously being portrayed in paintings, leaving the hen out of the picture and unacknowledged.
