Reflection is about a woman who longs for love and security. A woman who stares into a mirror but sees no one even though she is beautiful. She looks into space hoping and wondering if her prince will ever come to save her from her misery. She sits in her own cell day-after-day with nothing else on her mind, all dressed up and nowhere to go. It represents the damaging effects that co-dependency can have on any individual both male and female. In my case, I represent them as a female because my mother suffers of this illness and it has caused her to lose her own mind at times.
