Reminiscing the Countryside of my Youth /

Recordando los Campos de mi Juventud

This piece, along with "The Lady and her Blue Horse," represents a Caribbean countryside lifestyle which is projected in a modern style to show my dual heritage (Cuban-American). There is a secret behind these two paintings that I choose not to disclose. The secret lies in my inspiration. You will notice that the woman is standing and staring at her countryside's beauty and appears somewhat out of place, symbolizing that she is there only in thought, not in reality -- dwelling on a past long ago forgotten.
