August 7 - August 31-- "Eklekticity: a collective exhibition of Eight Latin American, Mid-Career Artists."

RODEZart.com Gallery presents the diverse works of Chenco (Colombia), Vicente Dopico-Lerner (Cuba), Carlos Gámez de Francisco (Cuba), Daniel García (USA/Puerto Rico), Lidia Godoi (Cuba), Israel Guevara (Venezuela), George Rodez (USA/Cuba), and Ana María Sarlat (México).
An intensive presentation of personal journeys within
a dramatic visual dialogue without reference to their native culture; these
artists dare to express their independent voices in a combination of abstract,
conceptual realism, and surreal landscapes, as well as startling subject matter
that explore the contribution of diversified roles. A multiplicity of approaches
where cultural differences abound and beckon the audience to reflect and know.
We welcome you to meet these prominent Latin American artists thinking outside
the tank and to explore their contributions to the Latin American Art movement
which has influenced mainstream popular culture and become an international
movement.
The exhibition opens to the public at the RODEZart.com Gallery on Saturday,
August, 7, 2010 during the Coconut Grove Gallery Walk and can be viewed through
August 31, 2010. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to
7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Young collectors welcomed!
We look forward to meeting you and thank you for supporting the Arts.
