Artist inspiration:
This piece was created for Econsulting Worldwide, Corp. This piece will serve as the annual award, ECOAWARDS, that the organization will bestow upon an individual or organization that has been determined to have best served the interests of planet Earth. The simplicity of this work speaks for itself. It is our world with a ray of light coming from behind to enlighten our conscience on the issue of global warming, even if just a little, and to awaken us so that we do not make the mistake of destroying the world that saves us. I used no clouds and made some very subtle geographical changes to symbolize that we must awaken from the fantasy that this world can be saved without our aid. We are the ones that must save it or else, along with her, we too will stop from existing.
