Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami’s Annual Hard Hats & High Heels event, whose mission is to raise awareness and funds to finance a home for low-income moms in Miami-Dade, will hold its event on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Rusty Pelican, 3201 Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne, Florida. Their silent auction will feature several of my works.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Academy of Hospitality & Tourism Management presents its 23rd Annual Around the World Dinner: A Culinary Expedition, on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Miami Biscayne Marriott from 6 to 9pm. The silent auction will include numerous pieces from my collections.

Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, whose mission is “Through education, training, research and vision enhancement, Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired provides hope, confidence, and independence to people of all ages,” celebrates 32 years with “Music Under the Stars, Bon Apetit Miami’ on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Miami Lighthouse Mary M. and Sash A. Spencer Campus, 601 SW 8th Ave., Miami, FL from 6 to 9 p.m. The silent auction will feature several of my pieces.

The Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (CARD) at the University of Miami and Nova Southeastern University presents Tropical Nights on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the beautiful InterContinental Miami Hotel, 100 Chopin Plaza in Miami.  Tropical Nights is your way to help those affected by autism living in South Florida. This special evening benefits the programs, services and research initiatives at CARD while highlighting the innovative and impactful services and programs of CARD. The evening also celebrates our South Florida autism and related disabilities community. The silent auction will feature a donation from RodezArt’s Afro-Caribbean series.

The City of Hialeah presents “Honoring The Woman” Collective Exhibition at the Milander Center for Arts & Entertainment, 4800 Palm Ave., Hialeah, Florida. The event is open to the general public and the admission is free. Opening night is Saturday, March 8, 2024, at 7pm.  The exhibition will be on view through April 26, 2024, during regular operating hours of 9am to 5pm.

The Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter of the American Red Cross presents its 39th Annual Red Cross Ball and 4th Annual “Party in Red” on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami, 255 Biscayne Boulevard Way, Miami, starting at 7pm. The Red Cross Ball is an inspiring, black-tie evening featuring exquisite food, music, and dancing with all net proceeds supporting the Red Cross mission. This year two of my pieces will be auctioned off, “Aroma” (Afro-Caribbean series) and “Rever De Vous” (Elements & Values series).

El Cafecito! Exhibit

The Box Art Gallery presents El Cafecito, a juried group art exhibition – A showcase that will explore the profound social impact of coffee on diverse societies. Coffee, as a beloved and ubiquitous beverage has had a significant influence on numerous aspects of human life, ranging from its role as a catalyst for social interaction and intellectual discourse.

The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday, November 25, 2023. A VIP reception will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 7-10 pm. The exhibit continues through Saturday, January 20, 2024. Gallery hours are Tuesday- Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call 786-521-1199 for an appointment.
