Artist inspiration:
This character shakes his maracas as he dances to the salsa beat. He wears these colorful balloon-like, sleeved shirts that is part of the Cuban dance and musical culture and typical wardrobe of the guarachero. It is the type of outfit worn for certain types of musical and/or dance performances. The basic costume design is typical, but the color pattern was my own creation.
