Artist inspiration:
This piece, titled “Club Tropicana Presents Penelopeacock” was created as part of a public art fundraising project for Coconut Grove, Florida, in 2010. Twenty artists were commissioned to create these pieces. The inspiration for this piece was the cabaret dancers from Club Tropicana in Havana.
