Artist inspiration:
This piece was titled after the Spanish song that goes by the same name — La Española Cuando Besa. The woman’s curly sideburns are fashioned after seeing an artist girlfriend of mine by the name of Ana Maria Sarlat wear them in this very same manner which inspired me to create this piece based on her look. Her enticing lips invite you to kiss her.
